Twice as Warm

Winter Storm Harper is barreling through the greater part of the Midwest and East Coast. While most of us are able to curl up in our houses and enjoy some warmth and a movie or two, there are plenty of people who can not enjoy those luxuries. In 2017, 192,875 people were living homeless and unsheltered in the United States (National Alliance to End Homelessness). These people often are living without the means to keep them warm. Twice as Warm is doing their part to change that.

Twice as Warm sells hat, scarves, gloves, and t-shirts and when one is bought, one is given to someone in need and make all of the products in the United States, especially in the Washington D.C. area, where they started.

We give our same high-quality, made in USA clothing items to local shelters and organizations in need of warm winter clothing for their clients.

Here are a few of the non-profit partners Twice as Warm works with.

During our first winter, we were able to give 210 winter hats, scarves, and gloves in our community,  surpassing our goal of 150.

From there it has only grown. Twice as Warm has begun to surpass their goal and make themselves more than a “Buy One, Give One” company. They have grown beyond the Washington D.C. area, and continue to grow even more. So when you’re thinking to add warmth and comfort to your life, think to buy items that add those same things to others’ lives too.
